I’m a planting-focused garden designer based in Bromley, creating thoughtful gardens across London, Kent and the South East. My work combines practical horticultural knowledge with a considered design approach, creating gardens that are not only beautiful when first planted but continue to mature and improve with every passing season.
My passion for gardening began at a young age, spending countless hours working outdoors and developing a fascination with plants, trees and the changing character of gardens throughout the year. That early interest naturally led me into professional horticulture, where practical experience became the foundation of my design philosophy.
Alongside formal RHS horticultural training and garden design studies, I’ve continued to work hands-on in gardens throughout the seasons. Maintaining established gardens, solving planting challenges and observing how landscapes evolve has given me an understanding that can only be gained through practical experience. This insight allows me to design gardens that feel balanced from day one while anticipating how they’ll develop over the years ahead.
I’m particularly inspired by naturalistic planting, Japanese maples, layered perennial combinations and the subtle beauty of seasonal succession. Rather than chasing short-lived impact, I focus on creating gardens with atmosphere, structure and planting that rewards closer observation as the seasons change.
Above all, I believe the best gardens are deeply personal. Every project begins by understanding the people who will live with the garden—how they use the space, what inspires them and how they want it to feel. My role is to combine those aspirations with thoughtful design and sound horticultural knowledge, creating gardens that feel timeless, individual and a genuine extension of their home.

Every project begins with a relaxed visit to your garden. We'll walk through the space together, discussing how you use it, what inspires you, and what you'd like to achieve. I'll assess the site's character, soil, aspect and existing planting, while offering initial ideas and professional horticultural advice.
Using everything we've discussed, I'll create a bespoke garden and planting design tailored specifically to your garden. Every decision is carefully considered—from the overall layout to the smallest planting detail—creating a garden with structure, atmosphere and seasonal interest that will continue to evolve beautifully over time.
Once the design is finalised, I'll carefully source high-quality plants from trusted specialist nurseries before professionally installing the planting scheme. Every tree, shrub and perennial is positioned with its long-term growth and contribution to the garden in mind, giving your garden the strongest possible start.
The best gardens continue to improve with time. Through ongoing horticultural care, seasonal refinement and thoughtful management, I'll help your garden establish successfully and mature just as it was intended, ensuring it continues to thrive for years to come.
